Tools for the Journey through Grief

Beginning Again is an eight-week grief support group  that was developed in the late 1980s for adults coping with the death of a loved one. Hundreds of people have benefited from this group and have made good use of the tools provided throughout the seminar, which enables people to move forward in their journey through grief rather than becoming stranded or immobilized.

If you have experienced a significant loss and are seeking tools to assist you in your journey through grief, ask your minister, social worker, funeral director, counselor or other professional to facilitate a Beginning Again group in your area.

If you are a mental health or healthcare professional, a faith-based professional or other practitioner, consider facilitating a Beginning Again support group. And if you do, I hope you will realize as much reward from this work as I have over the years.

With Warm Regards,

Sherry Martin

Note:

Materials for the Beginning Again program consist of a step-by-step guide for facilitators and the companion participant and facilitator manuals, along with a CD-ROM containing templates to easily reproduce personalized materials for registration, marketing and implementation of the group.
